ZDNet reports that Apple may be considering an ad-supported version of the iPhone . The rumor stems from a patent app that Apple filed for forced advertisements.

TomTom officially launched the iPhone Car Kit in the US Apple Store Today. If you want, your own dedicated speaker/windshield mount/GPS antenna for your iPhone the kit will set you back about $200 and ship in a few weeks.

Unicom to sell iPhone 3G in China in October

Most of us know already that Apple and China Unicom have been in talks to provide the iPhone 3G to the 400 million mobile phone customers in China. Key bits of info were lacking on the initial reports including how much and exactly when the devices would launch.
