It’s hard to remember how I ended up in Pine City.  Everything before the “Crash” seems like someone else’s life

Star Wars: Trench Run

Developer: THQ Wireless Price: $4.99 Version Reviewed: 1.0 Graphics / Sound Rating: 3.25 out of 5 stars Game Controls Rating: 2.75 out of 5 stars Gameplay Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars User Interface Rating: 3 out of 5 stars Re-use / Replay Value Rating: 2 out of 5 stars Overall Rating: 2.7 out of 5 stars In Star Wars: Trench Run, THQ Wireless attempts to boil down the climactic finale of the original Star Wars film into its simplest components. They may have taken it too far though, as the game suffers from an all-around lack of substance

App Sale: Galactic Gunner

Galactic Gunner is on sale for free – normally $.99-$2.99 I’ve only played a little bit of this game and it’s pretty good, especially if you can get it for nothing! You play the part of the gunner on a fighter ship in some kind of epic struggle against bad aliens called Trepidoids. The game mostly involves a lot of frantic tapping as you try to shoot down the enemy, and Ezone did a nice job on the 3D graphics

Garters and Ghouls

Developer: Namco Networks USA Price: $4.99 Version Reviewed: 1.0.0 Graphics / Sound Rating: 3.8 out of 5 stars Game Controls Rating: 4 out of 5 stars Gameplay Rating: 3.55 out of 5 stars Re-use / Replay Value Rating: 3.65 out of 5 stars Overall Rating: 3.75 out of 5 stars Top down action games are nothing new on the iPhone, and neither are dungeon romps, but for whatever reason, we really haven’t seen a combination of the two. Garters and Ghouls sort of fits into this gap with what seems to be a lovechild of iDracula and Underworlds .

Inkvaders

Developer: Chillingo Price: $0.99 Version Reviewed: 1.0 Graphics / Sound Rating: 4.8 out of 5 stars Game Controls Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars Gameplay Rating: 3.7 out of 5 stars Re-use / Replay Value Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars Overall Rating: 3.88 out of 5 stars I typically like games that are put out by Chillingo… although they don’t make the games themselves, the games they publish usually have a certain level of polish that other developers just can’t seem to replicate. Inkvaders, not to be outdone, has so much style and polish oozing out of it that I almost want to forget about the rest of the game and stare
